Hey there! So, check it out. The Dichotomy, right? It’s totally a nod to Pink Floyd’s epic jam ‘Pigs (Three Different Ones)’ from way back in 1977. You gotta listen for it, it kicks in about a third of the way into the song. And get this, Brett, the genius behind it all, said it’s like his own funky twist on Pink Floyd’s ‘Dogs’. How cool is that?
Oh, and get this, they even played The Dichotomy live during a bunch of shows in 2019. But get this, they left out the keyboards. Can you believe it?
Oh, and if you wanna dive deeper into this awesome stuff, check out Jim Ruland’s book ‘Do What You Want: the Story of Bad Religion’. He talks all about it on page 58. Rock on!
