The Coz (or The Cos) was an awesome band with Greg Graffin, Davey Goldman, Greg Hetson, and later Paul Dedona. But then Paul left because Greg Graffin kept bugging him about turning down his amp. Paul said it just wasn’t the same without Brett, who never bossed him around like Greg and Davey did. But playing with Greg Hetson was amazing because he was super experienced. Sometimes the members of Bad Religion act like The Coz never existed. Jay said it was just an inside joke, using Bill Cosby as the spokesperson for “the cause” of punk rock. They called it “The Coz” and that’s how it came to be.
