Brett’s song “News From The Front” is all about AIDS and he’s wondering why we’re not doing more to help AIDS sufferers in the U.S. He calls them the ones at the front, like they’re fighting a battle. How cool is that? The band actually voted to leave the song off the record, but Brett really loves it and wishes it had made it on. Luckily, it did end up being included in the releases in Japan, Australia, Europe, Russia, and South America. It’s also on the promo copies of “Infected” and “Incomplete.” Fun fact, Brett actually wrote this song at the last minute. And get this, he tweeted the lyrics in June 2020, right when the world was dealing with COVID-19 and protests against systemic racism and police brutality. How fitting is that?
