Oh my gosh, you won’t believe what happened at the Snoqualmie Pass ski resort in Seattle on 3.30.1996! They had this epic all-day snowboard and skate exhibition/concert featuring BR, Seaweed, and more. But guess what? Greg totally forgot the words to “A Walk” and ended up mixing up the second verse with the first, singing “blah blah blah” instead. Hilarious!
And that’s not all, Hetson, the guitarist, messed up his part twice during “Cease” and Greg had to stop the song both times. Talk about a comedy of errors!
But wait, it gets even better. At the Westbeth concert in Manhattan on 2.3.1998, which was recorded by HBO, they had to start “Punk Rock Song” not once, not twice, but FOUR times because Hetson kept starting on the wrong fret. Oops!
Now, let me tell you, Greg is usually on point, but every now and then he has his moments. Like that one time he sang “as they were scrutinized something something he’s a mockery, you know?” instead of the actual lyrics. Classic Greg!
