Guess what? The two Gregs co-wrote this awesome song! Their friend Wryebo Martin came up with the title or the chorus or something, not really sure, but Hetson says he didn’t contribute much. But hey, he’s still listed as a co-writer on the Back to the Known version. And guess what else? Puffball covered this song and their version is even angrier than the original! You can find it on their album called Fuck Hell – This is a Tribute to Bad Religion. But wait, there’s more! This song is also known as “In the City they Follow” on the CD bootleg called Hate Yourself and Tired of the City, and as “Bad & Worst” on another bootleg. And here’s a fun fact: during a show in Asbury Park, NJ, a fan threw an original cartridge of the game “Frogger” onstage to request this song. How cool is that? Unfortunately, the band couldn’t play it because of technical difficulties and an encore by Goldfinger. But Greg still thanked the fan for the cartridge. Oh, and did you know that the cover of Back to the Known has frogger footprints on it? How playful is that?
