Guess what? NME just published this awesome interview with Greg! They asked him about some crazy stuff he supposedly said about his fans being idiots. But guess what? He never actually said that! His words got twisted and taken out of context. What he actually meant was that in any random group of people, you’ll find that 80% of them are idiots. Hilarious, right?
And get this, when they were on Bruce Dickinson’s radio show in England, they talked about the whole 80% thing. Jay even shared how he got beat up as a kid for being punk, and Bruce was like, “Why?!” And Greg’s response was epic: “Because 80% of people are idiots, Bruce!”
But the best part? They played “Incomplete” and “Infected” live in the studio, and Greg sang “let’s talk about no-one, someone, 80%”. How awesome is that?
