Jay explains, “We started adding ‘au’ or ‘ow’ to the end of every word because of our friend Henry, aka Henrau… and it just kind of stuck in the song. So it’s not rock and roll bound, it’s actually rock and roll bau,… across the lau…”[1] How fun and playful!
Inspirations: It seems like parts of the song’s melody were inspired by Neil Young’s “Op-er-a Star” from his 1981 album “Re-ac-tor”.
