Oh my gosh, you won’t believe it! Crazy Taxi, except for the PC version, has some awesome songs like Hear It, Inner Logic, Ten In 2010, and Them And Us. And guess what? Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller also has some sick tunes like Empty Causes, Hear It, Inner Logic, Punk Rock Song, and Ten In 2010.
But wait, there’s more! Have you heard of Frets on Fire? It’s this totally rad free game that’s like Guitar Hero. You can play it on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. And guess what songs are in it? Ten In 2010, American Jesus, At The Mercy Of Imbeciles, Atheist Peace, Change Of Ideas, Drunk Sincerity, Frogger, Infected, I Want To Conquer The World, Pity The Dead, Punk Rock Song, Scrutiny, Struck A Nerve, and Supersonic.
And that’s not all! These songs also appear in other games like Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, Tony Hawk’s Underground, Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, Tony Hawk’s Project 8, Tony Hawk: Shred, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 Remastered, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and Synth Riders Punk Music Pack.
Oh, and did you know that Greg Hetson, the guitarist, is a Nintendo fan? He used to play games like Super Mario Brothers, Blades Of Steel, and NHL 96. He even programmed Nintendo games as a hobby. How cool is that?
And get this, when Bad Religion played Infected on the Warped Tour, they gained a whole bunch of new fans who discovered them through Guitar Hero II. Even Jay’s kids were like, “Dad, you have to play Infected!” But Jay tried it and realized it’s not the same as playing a real guitar. He said it messed him up because there were no colored buttons on his guitar like in the game.
Oh, and here’s a fun fact: there’s a bootleg of a show in Berlin that lists Ten In 2010 as “Crazy Taxi”. How crazy is that?
