Tim Gallegos

Oh my gosh, you won’t believe this! The longtime editor of Maximum Rock ‘N’ Roll, who was actually a friend of the band, voted BR as the best band of the year in 1988 and Suffer as the best album. How cool is that? But wait, it gets even better! Tim, that’s his name, put together and released the New World Order: War #1 7-inch. Can you imagine? And get this, he actually called up BR while they were in the studio recording Generator to tell them that the US had started dropping bombs on Baghdad. Can you believe it? And guess what? That’s when he asked them to contribute some songs to a protest EP he was planning on releasing. How awesome is that? But sadly, Tim passed away on 4.3.1998.

I’ve been lurking on that site for over 20 years and if you’re into Bad Religion as much as I am, I’m sure you’re familiar. If you are not, go there right now and never come back to this site again. You should, and I totally understand.
