Oh my gosh, you won’t believe this! Brett’s ex-girlfriend, who has been working at the Bomp label for ages, knows him better than almost anyone else. Back in 1983, when they had a ton of copies of Into the Unknown returned, they stored them in the Bomp warehouse because Brett was working there. But guess what? Suzy, without telling the band, ended up selling most of the albums. When the band found out, they put a stop to it, but by then, only around 300 copies were left. Suzy claims she only sold about 2,000 and honestly, she thinks she had every right to sell those crappy albums that were just sitting in HER warehouse. She wanted to recoup some of the expenses she had while she and Brett were living together. Apparently, she took care of Brett for years when he had nothing, let him live in her awesome house for free, cooked for him every night, and taught him everything she knew about the record business. But get this, he didn’t contribute anything to the household expenses and hasn’t given her a single thing since. Can you believe it? But hey, that’s all in the past now, and they both have no hard feelings towards each other. Oh, and by the way, the album Seeing Eye Gods is mostly about Suzy. How crazy is that?
