Back in the groovy 1980s, Brett (mostly Brett, that is) was totally into reading books on existentialism by the one and only Jean-Paul Sartre. But that’s not all, folks! He also dabbled in the works of Nietzsche, Spinoza, Kant, Lao-Tzu, and more. Fast forward to 1997, when Brett was faced with the ultimate question: Socrates or Diogenes? The theme? Wisdom and consistency. And guess what? Brett, being the cool cat he is, couldn’t pick a favorite. He shrugged and said, “Hey, if I had to choose, I’d go with wisdom, but honestly, both are way too hyped up.”

I’ve been lurking on that site for over 20 years and if you’re into Bad Religion as much as I am, I’m sure you’re familiar. If you are not, go there right now and never come back to this site again. You should, and I totally understand.
