Ziskrout, the original drummer for Bad Religion, brought the excitement and playfulness to the band. He rocked the drums on their original demo tape, Bad Religion (the first E.P.), and even contributed to half of the epic album How Could Hell Be Any Worse?. But, in a twist of events, Ziskrout decided to leave the band right in the middle of recording How Could Hell… Why, you ask? Well, according to Graffin, it was for a really dumb reason – “you guys don’t listen to me enough, fuck you, I quit.” He stormed out of the studio, leaving his drums behind, while the album was only halfway finished. Talk about a dramatic exit! Despite his sudden departure, Ziskrout’s drumming skills can still be heard on some iconic Bad Religion tracks like Bad Religion, Politics, Sensory Overload, Slaves, Drastic Actions, World War III, Latch Key Kids, Fuck Armageddon…This is Hell, Damned to be Free, White Trash (2nd Generation), American Dream, Eat Your Dog, and Voice Of God Is Government. Ziskrout may have left the band, but his impact on their music will never be forgotten.
