Bad Religion has only played on Halloween four times in their existence, and each time they brought their playful and excited energy to the stage. In 1982, they performed at the Galaxy in Fullerton, CA, opening for T.S.O.L. Jay got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up as a “dead” Sid Vicious.
In 2009, they rocked the Wachovia Spectrum in Philidelipa, PA, opening for Pearl Jam. Jay took his costume game up a notch by donning a skeleton suit. Greg and Eddie even treated the crowd to a special performance of “Watch It Die.”
The Halloween tradition continued in 2010 when Bad Religion played at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA as part of The Dissent of Man tour. Greg G. and Hetson embraced their playful side by dressing up as characters from Jersey Shore – Greg G. as Mike “Situation” Sorrentino and Hetson as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. Brooks joined in on the fun by dressing up as Mike Muir from Suicidal Tendencies. And of course, Jay couldn’t resist joining in the costume fun and transformed into a werewolf.
Fast forward to 2019, when Bad Religion brought their Halloween spirit to Bogat√°, Columbia, performing at Chamorro City Hall as part of the 2019 Latin America Tour with the Offspring. Although no one dressed up this time, the excitement and energy of the holiday were still present.
