Guns N’ Roses

OMG, you won’t believe this! So back in the early 2000s, Brian got asked by Tommy Stinson, the bass player of Guns N’ Roses, if he wanted to jam with them. Can you imagine?! But guess what? Brian turned them down! He was all like, “Nah, I’m in Bad Religion and I’m loving it. Plus, I don’t even know who’s in Guns N’ Roses anymore.” Haha, he’s such a character! It’s not like they were offering him a private jet and a fancy top hat or anything. It was just a casual invitation to jam and see how it goes. But get this, he’s actually friends with Izzy Stradlin, who played on their awesome album “Appetite for Destruction” (which Brian totally digs), and Gilby Clarke, who replaced Izzy later on. Oh, and get this, during a soundcheck on December 6, 2000, Bad Religion even covered like 30 seconds of “Welcome To The Jungle”! How cool is that?!

I’ve been lurking on that site for over 20 years and if you’re into Bad Religion as much as I am, I’m sure you’re familiar. If you are not, go there right now and never come back to this site again. You should, and I totally understand.
