Faces of Grief

“Faces of Grief” is like, one of the few songs that Brian actually helped write! It all started when Brett and Brian were chatting and Brett was like, “Yo, I want another super intense song!” So Brian was like, “I gotchu!” He hung up the phone, went downstairs, and BAM! In just 15 minutes, he put the music together. He was so hyped that he recorded it on his phone’s voice memo app and texted it to Brett. And then, a few days later, they recorded it for real. It was seriously that simple – Brian was just trying to lend a hand. And let me tell you, what you hear on the record is an even better version of what was on that voice memo. So cool, right? [1]
