Guess what? There are not one, but two versions of this awesome video! Both versions were released by Tribal Crew and Epitaph. In one version, the sleeve features a super cool picture of Greg and Brett rocking out live. But in the other version, there’s a picture of someone, although it’s kinda hard to make out who it is. The audio on the video is from a show in Bremen, Germany, but the video itself is a compilation of footage from various shows on their European tour.
Now, here’s a juicy tidbit from Arvind Karman, who was lucky enough to attend the Ogden Theatre gig in Denver on March 27, 1999. After the band played “Along The Way,” Greg mentioned that there was actually a video released with the same name. He revealed that it was made by some talented European film students as a project or something. Greg even mentioned that it wasn’t originally intended to be sold or anything. But guess what? Now he’s hearing that they’ve been selling it for money in the states! And according to Arvind, Greg seemed to imply that they haven’t seen a single penny of that cash.
But you know what? Greg actually likes that about the video. He mentioned back in 1996 that he hadn’t watched it since 1989. Can you believe it? So, it’s safe to say that this video holds a special place in Greg’s heart.
