2004 Remastered Albums

Get ready for some exciting news! On April 6, 2004, Epitaph released remastered versions of some epic albums by Bad Religion. We’re talking about How Could Hell Be Any Worse?, Suffer, No Control, Against the Grain, Generator, and even a remastered DVD version of Along The Way. Can you believe it?

Brett, one of the band members, had some interesting thoughts about How Could Hell Be Any Worse?. He used to think it sounded crappy and unprofessional, but now he thinks it’s pretty cool! It’s exciting and raw, and he’s loving it all over again. And let’s not forget about the remasters themselves. They sound cool, especially compared to the grainy and quiet digital dithering of the past. They even dug out the master tapes to make it happen!

Now, let’s talk about the differences in these releases. How Could Hell Be Any Worse? got a makeover with new artwork on the front and back covers, making it the first time the proper artwork was used on a CD. Against The Grain also got a facelift with new artwork on the front, back, and tray card of the CD. And Generator? Well, this remastered version comes with two bonus tracks, the original versions of “Fertile Crescent” and “Heaven Is Falling,” featuring Pete Finestone on drums. These were his last recordings with the band, so they’re extra special.
